As Director of Product Marketing, you will be responsible for bringing new products to market, driving adoption and deeper engagement amongst benefits leaders and members, and mentoring our growing product marketing team. 

The ideal candidate is a player-coach who is at ease working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, with projects ranging from product strategy to positioning to creative development and execution. You are comfortable simultaneously managing multiple projects with a variety of stakeholders. Over the course of your career, you have developed excellent problem solving and communication skills. You have a growth mindset, are skilled at crafting impactful marketing, and know how to build a new category by defining and articulating the value of a portfolio of products.

<li>Conduct in-depth market research to uncover insights about business and consumer audiences, including how Sword can help members on their journey to live pain free. Utilize findings and competitive analysis to inform product strategies, use cases, positioning, and go-to-market plans;</li><li>Serve as the voice of the customer with internal teams;</li><li>Craft compelling and differentiated product positioning and messaging that helps business and consumer audiences understand the value of Sword’s solutions;</li><li>Build and lead cross-functional go-to-market strategies for key product releases;</li><li>Collaborate with Product Management, Clinical, Design, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Enrollment, and other relevant teams, leading by influence to ensure effective execution of launch, adoption, and engagement plans;</li><li>Track performance of products, gather feedback from members, analyze behavior, and identify opportunities for product and marketing improvements;</li><li>Create internal- and external-facing sales and marketing collateral to support sales efforts and drive product adoption. Collaborate with Sales Enablement to develop training materials and ensure deep understanding of products by the relevant sales teams;</li><li>Craft external facing marketing campaigns and programs to drive awareness of Sword and our product innovations;</li><li>Lead, motivate, and develop an outcome-driven team, serving as a mentor to our growing product marketing group, while exhibiting the standard for high quality work;</li><li>Establish a culture that is conducive to attracting, retaining, and motivating a diverse group of top-quality product marketers at all levels.</li>

<li>A desire to work for a mission-driven company that helps improve lives of our patients on a day-to-day basis;</li><li>12+ years of relevant product marketing experience, with prior direct responsibility for leading product marketing teams while collaborating with brand and creative teams in a fast-paced environment;</li><li>Proven success developing and launching insights-driven, global go-to-market, product adoption, and awareness campaigns;</li><li>Strong background in making complex products easy to understand by diverse B2B and B2C (B2B2C) audiences;</li><li>Highly data-driven, with strong ability to use insights to frame recommendations;</li><li>Strategic thinker who also drives forward tactical execution;</li><li>Exemplary project management skills, with strong ability to juggle multiple priorities and excel in a lean and demanding work environment;</li><li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt and work effectively with a team;</li><li>Attention to detail and strong follow-through;</li><li>Demonstrated success building and leading high-performing teams.</li>
