Sword Health has appointed Rick Spaker as its SVP and Chief Enterprise Officer. Rick brings over 20 years of experience building and scaling enterprise go-to-market organizations at leading companies such as ADP and Included Health.
Confirmation of Rick’s appointment comes at a time of exceptional growth for Sword. In Q3 2025, Sword surpassed 600,000 members enrolled across its AI Care solutions and delivered more than 8 million AI sessions to date. Demand continues to accelerate within the employer segment, as organizations from the fastest-growing startups to the Fortune 500 adopt Sword’s AI Care model to deliver world-class care to their workforces, while significantly reducing wasteful healthcare costs.
“Sword has spent the last year building a strong commercial foundation to match the scale of the opportunity ahead,” said Virgílio Bento, CEO of Sword Health. “Rick’s proven track record selling to enterprise organizations, combined with his deep domain expertise, will strengthen our team and allow us to deliver even greater impact for our clients.”
“I’m incredibly excited to join the Sword team,” said Rick Spaker. “Not only because of the strength of the platform, but because I have a personal connection to the mission. Healthcare is evolving rapidly, and Sword is leading the way by combining AI at its core with world-class clinical expertise. That combination is driving meaningful, measurable outcomes for millions of people navigating their own healthcare journey.”
AI is fundamentally restructuring how healthcare is delivered, experienced, and financed. For businesses, this means navigating extraordinary change. Rick’s expertise will enable Sword to partner with more organizations and guide them through this transition thoughtfully.
