As the Strategy & Operations Associate, you’ll be the right hand to the General Manager, helping shape Academy’s strategy as the team continues to evolve. In this highly strategic and cross-functional role, you’ll use data to inform decisions, turn ideas into structured plans, and drive execution across teams to ensure alignment, efficiency, and measurable impact as we scale Academy’s growth.
Academy is one of Sword Health's products that provides expert-led education that helps members understand their health, reduce risks, and build healthy habits. Academy drives engagement and long-term behavior change by making evidence-based learning accessible and easy to understand.
What you’ll be doing:
- Help the GM handle the team through project management, operations enablement and development of key initiatives;
- Be a thought partner and collaborate with the GM to define the goals and strategic initiatives to be launched;
- Be responsible for supporting and improving the team's effectiveness through planning, prioritization, and driving executional follow-ups;
- Create and manage the processes that will ensure the team’s efficiency and be a continuous improvement advocate and stakeholder;
- Collaborate with functional areas (product, operations, legal, etc) to ensure alignment across the company;
- Conducting research and analysis to support decision-making and surface improvement opportunities;
- Promote a metrics-driven culture, with the development of consistent approaches to setting performance targets, forecasting and ongoing performance improvement.
What you need to have:
- Experience in corporate strategy, start-up operations, and/or executive management experience;
- Have top-notch project/process management skills;
- Data Analytics: Previous experience directly manipulating spreadsheets, Looker or comparable data visualization tool;
- Attention to detail with swift execution - be a strong problem solver with a data oriented approach;
- Grittiness, creativity, strategic thinking and ability to operate with unknowns to get things done;
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to synthesize a lot of information quickly, highlight the key take-aways and disseminate meaningful insights;
- A proactive and independent work style;
- Highly proficient in spoken and written English;
- Ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
What we would love to see:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Economics, Management or related areas;
- Experience with B2C products.

Total compensation range
€31,500 - €49,500 a year
*This range includes base, variable and equity
