What is Sword Health?
Sword Health connects you with expert clinical care and easy-to-use tech from home. Looking to improve your physical function or eliminate pain? Check out Sword's digital health programs. Guided by experts, all with Doctor of Physical Therapy degrees.
How long has Sword Health been around?
Sword Health was founded in 2015. We spent our first years focused on research and development in order to build clinically rigorous solutions that deliver meaningful outcomes for members.
Is Sword Health a public company?
Sword Health is not a public company.
What digital therapy programs does Sword Health offer and which one is right for me?
With access to Sword Health, you can join one of our three digital therapy programs: Thrive, Bloom, or Move.
Each of the Sword programs were created to address specific member needs: Thrive is a digital physical therapy program for those struggling with joint or back pain. Move is a whole-body solution aiming to help people avoid injury and deal with low-acuity pain. Bloom is digital pelvic health program for women who suffer from bladder leakage, bowel disorders, pelvic pain and more.
Thrive, Move, and Bloom are all available at no additional cost to you and include access to a personalized program and a dedicated Doctor of Physical Therapy.
How does the program work?
After you enroll in one of Sword’s digital health solutions, you’ll choose a Clinical Specialist who holds a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree. They will work with you to develop a program tailored to your condition, goals, and needs. Depending on your program, you may receive a kit or wearable so that you and your PT can track your progress, provide feedback, and adjust your program accordingly.
How do I sign up?
Signing up is easy. After confirming your eligibility, simply create an account and download the Sword app. Inside the app, you will see the Sword solutions available for you to use.
What happens after I sign up?
If you are participating in Thrive, Bloom, or Move, you will receive an email with the date and time of your intro video call with a Clinical Specialist. If you can’t find the email in your inbox, please check the spam or the promotions folder of your email account. If you’ve checked your spam folder and still haven’t received an email from us, please contact us at help@swordhealth.com.
I am already signed up. How do I log in to my program?
The Sword mobile app is the centralized hub for your program, where you can track your progress for Thrive, Bloom, and Move. Make sure you have the Sword app downloaded (available for download from Google Play or Apple App Store), so you can log in from there.
What is the time commitment?
For most of our programs, we recommend completing an average of 3-5 sessions per week. However, the exact time it takes to complete your program will be personal to you, and the time it takes to implement lifestyle changes is difficult to measure. Fortunately, our digital format allows you to take your program at your own pace, so you can complete your session when you want, where you want.
Can I work on multiple joints or conditions at the same time? What if I have more than one condition?
It’s best to treat one part of your body at a time. If you have multiple conditions that you’d like to treat, we suggest choosing the condition that limits you the most. Once you’re able to find relief from this issue, you can begin another program and target a different part of the body.
