Clinical Study: Impact on productivity impairment of a digital care program for chronic low back pain

Study Overview

Chronic low back pain (LBP) affects nearly 27 million people in the United States and is the most reported reason for missing days of work (absenteeism), reduced performance at work due to illness (presenteeism), and early retirement.

This study validates our digital care program for chronic LBP, with special emphasis on the impact of productivity recovery along with improvements in pain and mental health. We demonstrate that Sword Health’s digital care program can drive meaningful improvements in productivity and mental health, while addressing pain conditions associated with chronic LBP.
