Digital Telerehabilitation for Acute MSK Pain: A Clinical Study
Study Overview
Acute musculoskeletal (MSK) pain is a leading cause of disability and lost productivity, yet access to timely, evidence-based treatment remains a challenge. This clinical study evaluates the effectiveness of a fully remote digital care program (DCP) designed for acute MSK conditions affecting multiple body areas.
With 87.5% completion rates, participants saw a 64.3% reduction in pain, an 82% decrease in medication use, and a 63% drop in surgery intent. Mental health outcomes also improved, with 54% less anxiety and 58% less depression. Productivity recovery was significant, with 79% fewer work limitations.
These findings highlight the potential of digital telerehabilitation in providing scalable, effective MSK care—delivering better outcomes while reducing healthcare costs.
